maitry ādiṣu balāni

3.24 From samyama on the strength of an animal, such as an elephant, one gains that strength.

baleṣu hasti bala ādīni

bhuvana jñānaṃ surye saṃyamāt

3.27 Knowledge on the arrangement of the stars can be gained by samyama on the moon.

chandre tārā vyūha jñānaṃ

nābhi chakre kāya vyūha jñānaṃ
